Months of struggling to know what our next move would be. Doing local shows just to stay afloat. Not thinking outside of the box. Slowly having late night failure thoughts creep in on our journey. Having people not take us serious. You name it. Some days we even said, " is it even worth it"?
Every vendor would ask "How did you guys do today?" Our response, "Eh, could have been better" But it wasn't because of the customers, it wasn't our prices, it wasn't the foot traffic. It was the "Shadow Costs" that prevented us from profiting, and our lack of faith in being who we wanted to become. So we built the tool we wanted: simple, honest per-show P&L, no fluff, priced so any vendor — not just the big dogs — can use it. A win for one vendor is a win for the room.
